Slow Cinema - "Sizzler" Single Review

Slow Cinema released their fourth single Sizzler on the last day of January this year fourth in a string of 90's alternative rock inspired tracks. With a sound somewhere between the Seattle grunge sound of the 90's, and the more dynamic Pixies sound from the east coast, these guys hit on something interesting here. They found a good hook in this and with a bit or distortion, they left listeners with a dark, yet pleasing guitar driven melody. With vocals mimicking the up and down of the guitars, and that classic powerful 90's drum sound, Slow Cinema made a solid song reminiscent of the evolving rock sound of the 90's. Grungeheads ought to be pleased with this new single.
