Summerdrive "Sunkissed Dreamland" - Review

In mixing sounds akin to Passion Pit, M83 and Phoenix, Sunkissed Dreamland by New York indie trio, Summerdrive took the very best of 80's synth-pop and turned it into bright, energetic, feel-good indie gold. Summerdrive seems to be catching this wave of indie synthpop at the perfect time as the indie world seems to increasingly turn their eye to this type of feel-good music, perfect for the summer. Closing out the track with a dopamine-laced melodic guitar outro, the band hits you again with one more dash of momentum, adding to the quality of the sharply crafted and produced track. Whatever these guys have in store next, should be a real treat.
