Summerdrive "Shimmer" - Review

Yet again capturing pure, euphoric sounds of summer, New York based indie trio Summerdrive found themselves with another gem of a feel good, infectious, summer song. In somewhat of a Passion Pit-esque, bright style, the group again captures the best of playful 80's synths, alongside heartfelt, relatable lyrics phrased in a wonderful, yet somewhat interestingly geometric style. For fans of groups like Walk The Moon, Atlas Genius or Bad Suns, this will be a song right up your alley, especially this time of the year. About five years in now, and one name change later, the band continues to impress and shows no signs of slowing down.
